Background: Since its inception in 2013, Ovid Group has been a transformative force in Ethiopia and Africa’s construction and real estate sectors. Challenge: Despite its substantial impact on the construction and real estate sectors, Ovid Group needed to enhance its online presence to effectively market its new real estate projects and reach a broader audience, including expatriates and regional buyers.
Solution: Icetulip was contracted to bolster Ovid Group’s digital footprint by developing a comprehensive online strategy that included the creation of a new real estate website. The website was designed to not only create awareness but also to capture leads effectively. Additionally, a targeted digital marketing campaign was launched, focusing on Ethiopians within the country and expatriates, as well as potential buyers from adjacent countries. To efficiently manage the influx of leads from various digital campaigns, Icetulip implemented a CRM solution using Odoo and integrated it with Zapier for seamless lead management across platforms. This allowed Ovid’s sales team to be notified at the same time that the inquiry had been submitted so they could contact the potential buyer.
Results: The strategic online initiatives were highly successful. The new website and targeted digital marketing campaigns generated over 2,500 leads. Remarkably, these efforts culminated in the sale of 2,000 apartments during a single event day, demonstrating the effectiveness of the integrated marketing and CRM strategies in driving sales and enhancing customer engagement.
